With Ma Huang, releases the Exterior in a patient with severe Cold and pre-existing Qi Stagnation. With Xiang Fu and Chen Pi, for Wind-Cold with Qi Stagnation and chest congestion. |

With Chen Pi, for Cold-Dampness Obstructing the Middle with nausea and hiccup. With Ma Huang, strongly creates sweating to treat all externally contracted Wind-Cold disorders, especially those in which Wind-Cold has constrained Lung Qi with cough and wheezing and the failure of Lung Qi to descend causing nausea and vomiting. |
